Description: Our company is currently hiring a School Social Worker for our elementary school & high school in Frederick, Maryland. You will play a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic well-being and provide counseling, intervention services, and resources to empower students to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies to enhance students' overall well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive and inclusive school environment
- Assess students' social-emotional needs and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conducting informal groups as part of MTSS and providing classroom support as needed in the daily schedule
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Active MarylandSchool Social Worker License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
